GRINDING OF THE WELDED JOINTS
• Welded joints are to be grinded using a profile grinder or an angle grinding machine.
• Ensure that the joints are grinded properly and has a good finish.
• Head of the rail has to be grinded properly and excess slag has to be removed from the neck of the rail.
• Check the top head of the rail using 1 mtr scale after grinding.
• Ensure there are no cracks or deformities during grinding.
